(UPI)-- In a surprise appearance at Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards, the Academy Award winner accepted the "Troops Choice" award from members of the military and received a standing ovation, People Magazine reported.
"Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular IED (improvised explosive device) explosion that became my personal life?" Bullock, wearing a fitted leather mini-dress, asked the audience.
