Welcome to the Real World

It felt so strange to return to work Monday. Granted, it's a different environment from New York. Much calmer, quieter. But just being there for five hours wiped me out. I'm trying out my arms, and typing, and the legs.

Mostly, it just wiped me out being somewhere other than the MATC (Military Advanced Training Center), our gym. It will be an adjustment for sure.

OMG! What a great day! Tired or not, this is only the beginning of a comeback for you that no one was sure could ever take place! Congratulations!!!

Good for you, Moonpie! Even though it was weird, it probably felt good too. I take it you're working from the Washington office, but are you still a "guest" at Mologne House?

Still shacking up at Mologne House and probably will be for quite some time. Always good to remain close to the hospital and close to those brilliant surgeons and therapists. But getting out, even for a little bit, is bound to help me cut the cord with this place eventually. That's going to be difficult
