Yes we have no water
Out of water for more than a week at the MATC. I learned its donated. So either someone quit donating water to the recovering soldiers or the water company just quit delivering it and pocketed the money. Pretty sad to see a soldier in PT go to the frig for water and close the door disappointed....

That stinks. Is there a way I can donate to the cause?
There must be a veterans organization like Wounded Warriors which could give you more info. It'd be great!
I've e-mailed Wounded Warriors and the CO of the hospital, just waiting to hear from them. Hopefully no one will die of thirst.
I've contacted Wounded Warriors and the grand poobah of Walter Reed. Wounded Warriors is going to forward the info to their onsite person, and the colonel is getting a contact for me to send some money to buy water for the PT gang.
FYI - Marianne was formerly WhoaNelly.
This is great news! The guys will really appreciate it!
I just found out that I have to go through the Red Cross at Walter Reed to get bottled water for the MATC. The colonel's assistant gave me the address and I will send a check ASAP.
That's great! The Red Cross volunteers at WRAMC are really special. They stockpile lots of things for us. I've gotten gloves in the winter, socks, even the pair of shoes I'm wearing. The only pair on earth that would fit me
