Ball of Confusion

That song led in to my appearance on a recent talk show and I can't get it out of my head.

Especially after last night.

Our correspondent in Amman, Jordan heard from a source that Iraqi President Talabani had a stroke.

We called his office here and were assured it was a "small stroke".

AP said he was unconscious.

CNN reported he had a heart attack.

We called his office again and I was chewed out by another spokesman for reporting he'd had a stroke. The spokesman says he was tired. He works too hard.

AFP reports Talabani has a kidney problem.

Talabani's office says he faints a lot.

I'm feeling a little faint now, myself. And I'm almost glad I'm leaving. Almost.
