The General retires

I was lucky enough to be invited to this event by the General's wife, Annie. It was a very special honor for a man who has dedicated his life to fighting the enemies of this country, particularly in his Special Operations career in Baghdad. I knew people who were part of the forces that regularly went out every night and popped "bad guys".

McChrystal had put the same sort of plan in place for Kandahar. Even in his absence I am told the bodies are stacking up, though we'll never hear about it in a news report.
