This time it was Barkon who ran over live electrical wires in the rain. Poor thing. He yelped and ran back to the trailer and shook for several minutes. When I tried to comfort him, "Flower" became insanely jealous and attacked him. She didn't hurt him. But she terrified him. While I screamed, an Iraqi guard beat her off him with a shovel.
I hear the Iraqis plan to get rid of her. And cover the live wires all around our parking lot.
We'll see.
Baghdad has been very quiet over the last couple of days.
I have busy producing radio pieces, photos and writing the story on Ramadi.
I'm hoping for a rest before an upcoming embed. But the quiet isn't likely to hold. At least you can't count on that.
